OUR
MINISTRIES
A relationship with Christ isn't a one-size fits all relationship. It is unique to each person and is ever changing. At MoST we strive to provide you with multiple ways to increase your relationship with God. We offer a wide variety of ministries. Below you will find an example of some of these ministries.
Youth Ministry
The goal for our 7th-12th grade youth is for them to grow in their faith and build their lives around Christ and making disciples for him. This happens first and foremost in the home, the physical family of our youth. We want to make sure parents have the tools and the desire to be the primary spiritual leaders of their teens. Secondly, it happens in their spiritual family, not just in the Youth Group but in the whole church, as we aim to bring the youth in closer connection with every generation in Christ’s body here at Missouri Street. The youth meets every Wednesday night for our “Huddles” where we spend time fellowshipping and preparing to spread the word to the world. We also attend various camps, retreats, youth rallies, and mission trips throughout the year to encourage spiritual renewal and servant-minded hearts.
Kid's Ministry
Ages 0 to 6th grade
Every Sunday morning and Wednesday night we offer classes for newborns through sixth grade. We also host outside events, such as Trunk or Treat, VBS, Family Night
During our time of worship on Sunday morning, we also have Children’s Church, for kids through kindergarten
Children's Home: Paragould, AR
In addition to monthly support for the work of this Children’s Home MoSt Church annually provides Christmas presents and a Christmas party for the children, the parents and the staff. For more information on Children's Homes click the link below:
Northside Church of Christ
In 1999, the MoSt Church planted a satellite church, then called the Wonder City Church of Christ, in our community, to specifically meet both the spiritual and social needs of people in our community. Since then, we have been able to purchase a facility to better meet those needs.
Families First Foundation
One of our former preaching ministers, Bill Wheeler, is the president of Families First. It exists to strengthen the families of Arkansas, while working with state and local governments, as well as churches. You can email Bill here.
Crownpoint Church of Christ
God has called our church to bless the lives of the Navajo in New Mexico. From sponsoring the preaching minister of the Crownpoint Church, Edison Gruber, to building facilities, and to sponsoring an annual VBS, we love this opportunity, and continued open door.
Guyana Mission Team
Every year our church supports a group, led by Rick Shirley, that ministers to the people in Guyana. This has proven to be a spiritually uplifting trip for all.
Africa Missions and Training
In March and April of 2016 MoST Church was able to send Mike Seale (our Minister) to Zimbabwe Africa with Dorian Flynn and Partners for Africa. The purpose of the trip was three fold. One: to observe the extent of the ministry work of Partners for Africa. Two: to survey the water wells the MoSt church (financially) helped to dig. Third: to participate in leadership training of men from some of the churches in the Zimbabwe area.
